
Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga today led other dignitaries at the burial of the Chairman of Luo Council of Elder Ker Willis Otondi In Kisumu County.
Ker Otondi who died on February 17 at the Avenue hospital in Kisumu after a long illness was laid to rest at his home in Nyahera.
Leaders drawn from various parts of the country and the region were at the burial also attended by Siaya Governor James Orengo, Kisumu Governor Prof. Peter Anyang Nyongo, Migori Governor Ochillo Ayacko among others. Other politicians included Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, former Meru Governors Kiraitu Murungu and Pater Munya among others.
Speaking at the event, Odinga praised Otondi for his efforts to unite the Luo community and described his death as a great loss to the country.
The ODM leader also took the opportunity to remind President William Ruto that he was remaining with only four days to fulfil the ultimatums given to him before a full fledged countrywide mass action begins.
