Gachagua’s 10 Demands to Back Kalonzo in 2027 Revealed

Rigathi Gachagua has reportedly issued the following conditions for him to fully support Kalonzo Musyoka’s presidential bid in 2027.

1. The Nairobi gubernatorial seat must go to a Kikuyu candidate, preferably James Gakuya, the current Embakasi North MP. All Kambas living in Mlolongo, Pipeline, Umoja, Ruai, and Joska must be mobilised to vote for Gakuya.

2. Rigathi will personally choose Kalonzo’s running mate without any objections. While Kalonzo prefers Eugene Wamalwa due to their long-standing friendship, Rigathi insists on George Natembeya.

3. Kalonzo will not be allowed to field Wiper candidates in DCP strongholds. Wiper will only field candidates in Ukambani and some parts of Mombasa.

4. Rigathi will serve as the chief strategist and chief campaigner for Kalonzo’s presidential bid. Every agenda must pass through him.

5. Immediately after Kalonzo is sworn in as President, Rigathi will be allowed to pick 10 Cabinet Secretaries from Mt Kenya, with key ministries such as Finance, Agriculture, Interior Security, and Foreign Affairs going to his allies.

6. Kalonzo must avoid Fred Matiang’i at all costs and must not mention his name in their meetings. Rigathi believes Ruto and Uhuru are working together through Matiang’i to weaken the dominance of the DCP party in Mt Kenya. In short, Rigathi believes Matiang’i is a Ruto mole, planted to divide the United Opposition or leak Kalonzo’s strategies to William Ruto.

7. Rigathi will mobilise and fundraise Ksh 50 billion from Kikuyu diaspora in the USA, UK, and Middle East. He will also source funds from Mt Kenya Foundation billionaires to finance Kalonzo’s campaign vehicles, helicopters, and party nominations. In return, he will have the free will to recommend key appointments for his fundraisers and sponsors in Kalonzo’s government.

8. Kalonzo must never pick William Ruto’s calls or respond to his messages. If Ruto calls, Rigathi must be informed immediately.

9. Once Kalonzo is sworn in as President, Rigathi’s impeachment case will be dropped, and Kalonzo will issue an executive order appointing Rigathi as a powerful Prime Minister. Rigathi will become the head of government, while Kalonzo will remain the head of state and Commander-in-Chief.

10. Finally, if Kalonzo loses to William Ruto, he must not concede defeat without consulting Rigathi. In the event that Ruto secures a second term, Rigathi has assured Kalonzo that they will have enough MPs to push for a handshake deal with Ruto, allowing them to join his government.
