The home of the National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has been surrounded by the army minutes before his scheduled press conference.
Bobi Wine was set to issue a press brief in a bid to inform his country and the world the state of the elections in Uganda, which the opposition feels is being bungled.
Uganda is experiencing one of the most tense elections having gone through violent campaigns in the last few months with hundreds of opposition supporters losing their lives in the process.
The tension was further raised when the Ugandan communication authority shut down internet and all the social media platforms on the eve of the election.
On his side, the youthful Bobi Wine yesterday expressed his frustrations on the election, claiming that it was not free and fair. As a result, he vowed to only concede defeat if the elections are free and fair.
