The Mr and Miss Birmingham Kenya 2022-2023 models on Friday 24th February conducted an environmental project at Thika Level 5 Hospital.
The models are a fraternity of models under the patronage of Amo La Moda Agency Kenya.
Under the leadership of the Miss Birmingham Kenya Joan Kenduywa, the project activity involved cleaning the cabro blocks and the parking area, and was concluded with the awarding of certificates.
A a tree planting ceremony was also conducted to contribute to the sustainable environmental action to combat climate change; with their guiding principle being, “Staying Clean As We Go Green”.
Prior to the project, the team sourced for sponsorships and conducted fundraisings to support in buying the personal protective gear and cleaning equipment and was supported by the County Government of Kiambu-Thika fire brigade, Monarq Branding, Cactus Brand, Neru Cleaning Company and Vuvu Africa, among other well-wishers.
