The Azimio One Kenya Coalition, officially announced the cancellation of parallel Jamhuri Day celebrations scheduled for 12th December 2022.
The cancellation was announced made by the leader of the minority in the National Assembly, Opiyo Wandayi, in a presser at the National Assembly on Thursday, December 8.
Hon Wandayi said the Azimio One Kenya Coalition leader and other leaders will have other engagements before and after the Jamhuri Day fete.
Wandayi also scoffed at the government announcement for free technology training scholarships for all attendees of the Jamhuri Day celebrations.
