“We will end abductions” – President William Ruto addresses rising concerns

President William Ruto has finally addressed the growing public outcry over the alarming rise in abductions across the nation.

Speaking at the Raila Odinga Stadium on Friday, he assured citizens of his commitment to put an end to these incidents and restore trust in national security.

The President was speaking in the company of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Homabay Governor Gladys Wangari, Energy CS Opiyo Wandayi in Homabay.

While maintaining a reserved tone, President Ruto emphasized the importance of community involvement, urging parents to take an active role in mentoring and protecting their children. “We, as the Government, will put an end to the abductions so that the youth can live in Peace and also have discipline. Our children are a Blessing from God, And I urge Parents to take care of them.” Said the head of state.

He highlighted that fostering peace within families and communities is crucial for the nation’s stability.

As the public remains increasingly concerned about safety, the President’s pledge to tackle the issue of abductions reflects a broader commitment to ensuring a secure environment for all Kenyans.
