The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has advertised 1,995 internship vacancies for teachers. The advertised slots include 1038 for Primary schools and 957 for Secondary schools.
According to commission the internship programme will last for one year and is meant to equip and sustain competencies of persons entering the service. The programme is targeting the unemployed registered teachers and they will be assigned to various institutions to perform their duties as per the Commission.
Serving interns are not legible, once recruited they will be subjected to a monthly pay of 15000 for primary teachers and 20000 for secondary teachers.
