Two teachers at Utumishi Girls School were alerted about planned unrest by some Form Three students, according to Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba. Despite this warning, the teachers failed to act before the tragic arson incident. The CS confirmed that investigations revealed the fire was indeed an act of arson.
