Mike Sonko cleared to vie for Mombasa gubernatorial race
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko was on Thursday 14th July formally cleared to run for Mombasa gubernatorial race in the upcoming August 9th elections. Sonko's clearance followed a court order issued on 13th July by Mombasa High Court which ordered the Mombasa IEBC County Returning Officer to accept Sonko's nomination papers
