Naivasha MP Jane Kihara has been summoned to appear before the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) disciplinary committee on Tuesday, December 24, following allegations of misconduct.
The summons stems from a recorded statement in which Kihara remarked, “Mi husema ile kitu ya UDA naweza nunua labda ni tissue paper… yellow toilet paper coz I’ll use it and throw it in the toilet…” This comment has raised eyebrows within the party and prompted the disciplinary action.
The UDA committee will review the allegations and determine the appropriate course of action regarding Kihara’s remarks, which have been interpreted as dismissive of the party’s values. The outcome of this summons could have significant implications for her political career and standing within the party.
