KNEC releases 2024 KPSEA results for primary school learners

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has officially announced the release of the 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) results.

In a statement shared on Facebook on Tuesday, KNEC confirmed that the results, which are a crucial part of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), are now accessible via the Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) portal.

“The 2024 Kenya Primary School Education Assessment reports are ready and have been uploaded on the CBA portal, cba.knec.ac.ke,” the KNEC statement noted. Schools that presented candidates for the assessment are encouraged to log into the portal to retrieve learner-specific results. KNEC also congratulated all candidates who participated in the 2024 KPSEA.

The KPSEA assessments were conducted from October 28 to October 30, 2024, with over 1.2 million Grade 6 learners from across the nation taking part in the exams.

KNEC emphasized that the assessment aims to evaluate learning outcomes at the upper primary level and measure pupils’ acquisition of core competencies and values. Additionally, it provides classroom teachers with valuable insights into learning gaps identified at the conclusion of the primary education tier. The findings will also assist stakeholders in the education sector to implement interventions aimed at enhancing learning outcomes in primary schools.

For more details and to access the results, schools and stakeholders are urged to visit the CBA portal.
