In commemoration of the World Environment Day 2023, the Global Peace Foundation in conjunction with UNICAF, Chandaria Foundation, ABSA Bank the Standard Media Group and several other partners planted 2000 trees at Alliance High School on 10th June 2023.
The initiative is aimed at complementing the Kenya government’s 15 billion National Tree Growing and Restoration Campaign to achieve 30 percent forest cover by 2032.
