David Ohito declares interest in Lang’ata parliamentary seat

Award winning journalist David Ohito Aol is set to officially join the race for Lang’ata parliamentary seat.

Ohito who in 2017 quit his job at standard media as a senior Editor to vie for Ugenya parliamentary seat will be looking forward to unseat the incumbent Nixon Korir.

Ohito lost narrowly to Christopher Karani in ODM preliminaries which were characterized with rigging of votes.

David Ohito is confident of clinching ODM ticket and delivering the seat to Raila Odinga’s party.

Speaking to Nyanza daily David said he will launch his bid formally as soon as his term as chief of staff Mandera county expires. He now joins Silas Jakakimba,Ogolla, Jalango, Oscah Omoke and veteran politician Okung’ Ndege Sirkal
