Three people died in a road accident in Mua Hills, near Mombasa road. The accident involved a vehicle and a motorcycle, which had a motorist and two passengers.
The accident happened around Mua Hills, Mombasa Highway road at about 12. 40pm.
The three, a bodaboda rider and his two passengers died on the spot after the motorcycle was involved in a head on collision with a private car in Mua hills area, Athi River subcounty, on Tuesday.
Arthi River sub-county police boss Mr Jos Mudavadi confirmed the incident.
“It occurred today at about 12.40pm along Mua Road at Mathatani area. It involved a motor vehicle of Mercedes Benz make being driven by a 41 year old man,” Mudavadi told our reporter.
Mr Mudavadi further said that the vehicle was being driven from Mua Hills towards the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway when the accident occurred.
“Upon reaching at the scene of the accident, he collided head on with a motorcycle that was being ridden by one Titus Nzili Kimina from the opposite direction. As a result of the road accident, the rider and his two unknown male pillion passengers died on the spot,” Mudavadi said.
