The Senate was forced to adjourn for 30minutes this evening after Nandi senator Aron Cheruiyot brought to the attention of senators the arrest of Hon Mithika Linturi
Senator Cheruiyot said that senator Linturi was arrested by officers who claimed to be DCI
The senator was on his way to the Senate for special seating that have been called by Senate speaker to deliberate on BBI bill.
The reasons for his arrest is unknown. More information will be provided as they emerge.
