Maseno university lecturer Jaspher Otieno collapsed and died in his house in Nairobi, Monday August 17.
The father of three was following the senate proceedings on the Counties’ revenue sharing formula on Monday afternoon when he collapsed and passed away. Confirming the incidence, Dr. Owen Onyango who is the institution’s public relations officer described the fallen don as a committed lecturer.
His wife noted that he was in a good health even when he was following the heated debate. Mr. Otieno had been serving the institution as a lecturer in the mass communications and media department since 2013. His death comes barely two weeks when another lecturer from university of Nairobi Ken Ouko succumbed to Covid19 desease.
