The Ford Kenya party’s national executive council (NEC) has expelled Tongeren member of parliament Eseli Simiyu, Busia nominated member of county assembly Cynthia Mutere and Kanduyi member of parliament Wafula Wamunyinyi over disciplinary issues.
Kiminini member of parliament Chris Wamalwa said that members had resolved to expel the rebel members from the party, and that the General Council and National Delicates congress will be held before end of September 2020.
Tongeren Mp Eseli and his counterpart Wamunyinyi have however dismissed the report, saying that the move was illegal and was not done in the right manner.
The statement was signed by the party’s secretary – general Millicent Abudho.
