Kangogo’s first victim the late constable John Ogweno is set to be given a state like burial which includes a 21 gun salute today at his home in Homa Bay county.
The family of John Ogweno on Thursday morning held a requiem mass for him at a church in Nakuru county before being transported to Kericho for body viewing then finally to his home town in Homa Bay.
Constable John Ogweno served in Kericho county prior to his transfer to Nakuru county where he met his death after being shot by his lover Caroline Kangogo.
The family also concurred with the initial postmortem results which revealed that the constable was shot in the head as reported by the detectives who recovered his lifeless body.
Constable John was found murdered in cold blood inside his car at a car park at Kasarani police line in Nakuru county.
Fast-forward, Caroline Kangogo would then be accused of killing another man in Juja (Peter Ndwiga) barely a day after she murdered constable Ogweno.
Prior to her mysterious death, Caroline Kangogo was on the run before her lifeless body was retrieved at her parent’s home in Elgeyo Marakwet, Rift Valley.
